1:1 custom dream tending & deep imagination sessions

3-day dream incubation + support before + 90-min session  + 30-min follow-up in 1 week + email & text guidance throughout /   $495

are you feeling stuck, lost, heavy, overwhelmed, or just plain confused? have you tried different ways to understand what it is you TRULY want and need to move forward, feel lighter, more fulfilled, creative, engaged, joyous, and yet still feel at a dead-end? or do you simply want to amplify the work you do with other healers, teachers, psycho-emotional professionals, and spiritual companions? do you have dreams that catch your attention or synchronicities in the waking life that feel like they are indicating something—just what is it?? or are you intrigued by what your heart actually desires and want to know more?

i offer three types of sessions that utilize different access points to dive into what your unconscious mind and soul self are communicating to you right now in the language of its own clarity.

1. dreams: we will incubate our dreams for a few days together before our zoom session and prepare to enter our session as we would sacred space. this custom 1:1 will accommodate what has been moving through you, is present now, and the hint of what is to come. we will move deeply, carefully, lovingly, and with full allyship, safety, and support. i will guide you via email and text beforehand, hold tender space throughout the session, and follow up via email and text thereafter, including an additional 30-minute follow-up one week later over zoom. these sessions are often profoundly transformational and revealing. clients often think their dreams are about one thing and then are surprised when they reveal a radically different longing. these sessions are meant to be done once per month or every other week, at most. we will work over zoom, so that you are in a space where you feel most comfortable.

2. the body: instead of the portal of dreams, we will use the access point of soma, or the body (mind/spirit), because, in truth, as dr. aizenstat says, "the body is always dreaming." our bodies are the repository and record of everything we've ever experienced from birth until we leave it. after a grounding, meditation, and/or breathing exercise, we will begin a conversation in which we will discover the "way in," the portal, which is hinting at what is REALLY calling your attention right now. i will support you with full allyship from before, during, and after our session, including a 30-minute follow-up over zoom one week later. this session will take place over zoom, so that you feel fully comfortable working with me from your own space.

3. sacred play: if you are a royally stuck creative, notwithstanding your medium, or have been hearing the call to do something artistically and have ZERO idea how to proceed, we will meet for a custom sacred play session. normally, this is a workshop for three+ others, but i understand how fraught it can be when you've always wanted to choreograph dance or act or paint or finally begin work on that novel or graphic design project or clothing line or album or stand-up set, or you USED to do your art, writing, singing, etc., etc., but you aren't any longer—when you've been stuck in the mud, sometimes crying, yelling, or disgusted that you can't budge, and you're embarrassed to show up in a group setting. or maybe you just like sketching, doodling, making crafts, and responding to life through art and find dreams or somatic work daunting, but you know there's something there you need to work on, which is trying to emerge, which somehow your penchant for artsy-fartsy things—like dancing silly with abandon or doing intuitive journaling exercises—is the gateway into... no matter what, we will have a lot of fun together arting and playing to a custom playlist, while discovering something MUCH deeper yearning to emerge through you. i will facilitate this session with you, collaboratively, with my full support before, during, and after our time together, and also follow up a week afterward. prepare to be transformed and experience creativity and art in a whole new way! are you ready?!

<please book a free 15-minute consultation if you are unsure which session is best for you ahead of time. no matter what, when you book a 1:1 dream tending and deep imagination session, we will chat to see what suits you, specifically you, best at this moment and exactly where you are.>

sacred play workshops

2 hours  /   $75/ea workshop online 5+ people  /

in person $175/ea

sacred play is a dynamic, unique, transformational space to bring your dreams and creative impulses into community with others. prepare to come play, doodle, paint, or write and leave a bit lighter, freer, ready to engage with life differently, feeling supported, or even radically changed, alchemized, ablaze with new insights and relationships within and out.

sacred play is an expressive arts therapy-informed workshop and safe space offering permission to engage your inner child, let your hair down, break rules, paint with your fingers (and toes), scream, sing, design, write, writhe, laugh, cry, and connect with other folks who find their imaginations everywhere from overflowing to a desolate desert. this is a therapeutic space of play (not therapy!) in which we prioritize that there is no wrong (or right), where with the gentle nudge of dreams, our daily lives, things that fascinate us in the waking landscape, and the support of each other we allow ourselves a few hours to get curious and see where the rambling road of our psyches might take us. prepare to be surprised! and TO HAVE FUN!

backstory: as the host of this community since 2020, i myself began in sacred play writing—an art form i have (what feels like) too much education/training in and often feel stuck or pressured doing—and after only a few meet-ups quickly started painting everything in sight, after never having used acrylic paint in my life. a dam of endless creativity burst open through me and likewise through the others around me. in each workshop, we birthed something new through ourselves and each other. in time, our artworks began to speak to each other and our psyches wove into a beautiful tapestry of togetherness. it has been an experience unlike any before in my life, even after years studying the humanities, arts, and creativity, including the artist's way, the war of art, taking classes, doing retreats, etc., etc., and engaging the arts as a singer, musician, writer, and actor/performer. sacred play truly shifted me and the other folks in our community forever.

though many of the participants in sacred play paint or draw, it is ultimately YOUR time to see what might emerge through you. some folks write, edit photos, practice an instrument, rehearse comedy, meditate, or even curl up on the couch and just soak in the music and community vibes! the most important thing about this group is to honor exactly where you are in the moment and to go from there on a journey without any expectation of what the outcome will look like.

sacred play meets ongoing, every other week, over zoom and in person, or can be customized as a 1:1 or with a small group over zoom or in person. please schedule a free consultation for more info and open slots in different communities! i can help pair you with the right group...

general format:

  • opening grounding.

    • we enter this community as we would sacred space or a circle. candle will be lit. the land will be acknowledged. pronouns shared. participants are encouraged to prepare themselves and their space beforehand in a variety of ways when working over zoom or to arrive ready to connect deeply and also in celebration with each other and themselves.

      • my co-host or i will lead very gentle breathwork, bodywork, guided meditation, or active imagination once we are settled into sacred space to move from head into heart, mind into body, into a more wholistic place, connected within and out.

  • sharing.

    • each participant will offer a brief, timed share regarding what is "up" or visiting in their dreams or daily lives: anything from colors, sounds, images, animals, and emotions to life events, memories, holidays, media, and myths...

    • participants will receive information beforehand about how to incubate dreams and prepare for what to notice, look for, and share about in community.

  • creativity exercise.

    • depending on the group, we will either move straight into our communal playtime or begin with an exercise to get the juices flowing and either words on the page or marks on the surface.

    • if folks just want to get going, we will introduce our playlist and basic prompts, and then it's off to the races!

  • playlist + 50-minute playtime!

    • beforehand, i will tap into the general feel of the group and intuit a playlist to which we will create. the playlist can sometimes challenge us and elicit an emotional response and sometimes it can be very deeply soothing and nurturing. the playlist itself is a canvas onto which something is painted and guiding us all throughout our journey together.

    • participants can always turn off their sound/video and play to whatever they'd like, which is easier on zoom than in person. although, participants can bring headphones if they'd like to listen to their own music in person.

    • my co-host or i will let folks know when we are half-way done. at the end of about 50 minutes, we will all take some time to clean up, before reconnecting in community.

  • sharing and closing.

    • just as we began, we will end with timed shares from each participant. no one is obligated to share what they created, but may if they feel led. often, folks find that other participants are intrigued by what they created and how it speaks to what they made, as well! and also, we value whatever is right for you.

    • shares can simply reflect what it was like to create in community, what came up, what visited that was surprising or even expected—even what the music brought up.

    • after we have had our closing shares, we will offer a brief moment thanking all who allowed us to be present and all who supported us in our time together, then blowing out our individual and/or collective candle(s) together.

<please book a free 15-minute consultation if you have any questions, and also so that i can place you in the best sacred play community per your particular interests and needs.>

custom ceremonies, rituals, and retreats

to be determined

we are the architects of our reality through where we place our attention. energy flows where we focus that attention, whether it's significant or small. imagine if we celebrated tiny victories like taking deep breaths when we awoke, alive, present for a new day, as much as a birthday or graduation celebration—whether in how we created that tiny ceremony or just in our imaginal bodies. if each moment is sacred and contains within it the multiplicity of time and its inter-dimensional weavings past, present, and future, then our actions in each moment reverberate into this quantum space and can ground us into a new reality, notwithstanding what we are ritualizing.

rarely in the west or highly techno-capitalist cultures do we ritualize more than big, big events in our life, like weddings or funerals, and even they are often short-term, no longer than a day for something that honors, encompasses, a life and extremely complex context and emotions. even then, we are frequently forced to hold space for these experiences almost against our will, begrudgingly, like suddenly being so sick we cannot go to work, even though for weeks we knew it was time to look for another job or take a break from a crippling schedule we gave ourselves to avoid the impact of our dying pet, mildewing bedroom, or that relationship screaming at us. in other words, we find ourselves in the middle of ceremony, ritual, or respite and inner reflection as a last resort, as crisis intervention, when we could calibrate and titrate this prophylactically, slipping into mindfulness more than dissociation, finding the pleasure of celebrating life more often than not, in the bad and good, big and small instead—what if it's all meaningful?

if you are still processing and integrating seminal experiences lingering well after the fact or wondering how you could honor the little things, so they don't snowball into an abominable snowperson at your door, doing a ritual or full ceremony in community, 1:1, and/or with others can help dislodge and liquefy some of the frozen bits of you that have calcified in the process of these experiences. even more importantly, if you have no idea what needs to be ritualized or surrendered to ceremony, we can embark on both a session and custom ceremony to bring attention to that seemingly insignificant quarter-life crisis, those lost summers of youth when you never went to camp with your friends (or had any friends), the curious years of your 30s spent arriving late everywhere you went, the time recovering from mono as a new mother, that car accident when you turned 50, that stupid stubbed toe at 70, or the anniversary of meeting your biological father for the first time at 18. nothing is too big, small, or in-between.

you are allowed to honor what is often overlooked as unimportant or something to "get over." it brings me true pleasure to help folks identify what hasn't been seen by them in their bodies and lives, which once honored and brought into new relationship and dialogue can facilitate profound transformation and new momentum forward, onward, from healing what came before.

likewise, in the near future, we at the sacred spheres will offer sacred ceremony in community with small groups ensconced in nature-imbued locations like sedona, ojai, big sur, and at select european destinations. these retreats will bring together yoga, energy/qi, and breath practitioners, healing food artists to nurture us, dream tending and deep imagination journeying, guided hikes and meditations in nature, art and creativity playtimes, sacred rituals and ceremonies, as well as deeply meaningful time with others yearning to know what truly wants to emerge in and through them, while supported by the tender hug of community and landscape around us all. email us or subscribe to our newsletter for future information about these retreats...
